Lifetime coverage

If it breaks, we replace it.
Free. For life.

Every part of every Slab Stands product is covered for as long as you own it. This page is the whole policy — it's short on purpose.

What's covered

Any part of any product we sell, if it breaks, cracks, snaps, warps, delaminates or wears out in normal use. That includes:

  • Case bodies that crack or split
  • Faceplates with broken snap fingers, or that no longer hold a slab firmly
  • Sealed lids that won't stay shut
  • Bases that crack, or whose channel has spread and no longer grips
  • Stands that warp, sag or lose their lean
  • Anything that arrives damaged, misprinted or out of spec

We replace the individual part, not the whole product — that's the point of building it modular. If a faceplate snaps, you get a faceplate.

What isn't

  • Lost or stolen parts
  • Deliberate damage — if you cut, drill, melt or otherwise modify it, that's on you
  • Normal cosmetic marking: scuffs, fingerprints, shelf wear
  • Damage to a card or slab. We cover our parts; we can't cover your collection
  • Products bought secondhand — coverage stays with the original purchaser

How to claim

  1. Send a photo to hello@slabstands.com showing the part and what went wrong. An order number helps but isn't required — if we can see it's ours, that's enough.
  2. We ship the replacement. Usually same business day if you write before 2pm CT.
  3. Keep the broken part. You don't need to send anything back. Recycle it, keep it as a spare, bin it — your call.

Why we do this

These are printed parts. They cost us a few grams of filament and half an hour of machine time. The card sitting inside is worth immeasurably more, and a display product you're nervous about is a display product that stays in a drawer.

Making the warranty unlimited is cheaper for us than making you think about it — and it keeps us honest, because a part that fails often is a part we have to redesign rather than quietly keep selling.
